Neighborhood Watch

Finally, here are some images from the shoot I got to style (with Kristi Bleich, photographed by Matthew Pew)! The concept I had for this photo shoot was a sort of "walk through" Seattle, showcasing the different areas of the city and what style's I feel would naturally blend into the environments. For the pioneer square look I paired distressed boyfriend jeans with a oversized wool jacket and collared shirt for a look that's still put together but not overly restrained (the pop of color of the faux fur scarf also gave it an unexpected element). Then for the Chinatown look I wanted to go a bit more street wear by mixing an evening dress with other more relaxed pieces like a varsity jacket and leather snapback. This ended up being my most favorite outfit out of all of them, and something I would definitely wear myself (even if fashion tape was required for the neckline). Next, for Jefferson skatepark I wanted to do something not so literally skate wear but still young and cool, so I used a printed sweater dress and these amazing knee high socks that Kristi had in her supply wagon (aka an suv).  For Capitol Hill's infamous burger joint Dicks I decided to make it really casual with some leather jogging pants and a cropped hoodie, which I think ended up looking realistic for someone going to a burger place but of course realistic in a "I wear want I want and pull anything off" fashionista way. Finally the last look we shot was a shirt dress with some over the knee boots which I think is a really great trend happening at the moment because its low key yet still has a hint of "bad-girlness"(think Rihanna on a Sunday). Overall, I had an amazing time getting to work with everyone and hopefully you enjoy these images:
