Illegally Blonde

I've always wanted to try out a braided hairstyle (or cornrows as they're usually called) but my fingers and my patience lack the necessary skills to complete the look. So this morning I proceeded down the next best route, forcing my mom to braid my hair! Though it didn't come out perfect it was a worthy effort and I think this is a great alternative to just wearing my hair down or in its usual topknot...I just hope it looks more "Tumblr cool" than white girl returning from a family vacay in the Bahamas.
